"You know what I am?
I'm a dog chasing cars.
I wouldn't know what to do with one if I caught it."
- The Joker.
you're a dog,
people around you are the numerous objects which you could chase.
1. The Bone.
Stationary.
There when you want them to be,
and gone when you're sick of them.
2. The Bicycle.
Not so fast that you can't catch up.
Not so slow that they're unmoving.
And that's what's keeping your interest.
3. The Car.
Moving ahead at their own speed.
You can't catch up.
But you try regardless.
so why do you chase these things that are obviously out of your reach,
and ignore the one which is by your side?
what the hell are you going to do with a bicycle or a car when you catch up?
you're a dog.
you can't ride a bike.
you can't steer a car.
perhaps it's just for the adrenalin rush,
perhaps it's for the enjoyment,
perhaps it's for the feeling of accomplishment when you do catch up.
but seriously,
keep chasing,
and you might forget where you left your bone.
i'll try find a leash for the dog:$ and find him a happy home to live in.
