Day 2 - Your Crush

you were my first crush.

perhaps it was the fact that we both played piano,
and our teacher liked us as a little couple..
or perhaps that we were the "asian couple" of the class,
that our parents knew each other,
and we went over to each other's houses to play more often than the other kids did.

whatever it was,
we were always together,
and you attracted me.

and even until now,
i think back to that attraction,
and reminisce.
it was a nice feeling.

everything is always more simple when you're young.

but all good things, always come to an end.
that's why they call it a crush.
because in the end, you'll only be crushed by it.
crushed by the feelings,
crushed by the emotions.

i was young.
i didn't understand.
but if you were to come back to my life now,
i doubt i would have avoided crushing on you again,
